Looks great! Possibly add more ventilation? .... Down at the bottom?

The door to the enclosure will be a stable door type with an access flap on it. It will probably be open all the time anyway. If I add ventilation at the bottom will that create a draught?

The peak of my loft roof is open at both ends(E and W) with only 1/4" HC covering it. Then around the bottom on the north and south sides I have 4 large openings. I have hinged covers for these vents but they are almost never closed. This allows air flow without direct drafts(draughts?) to any of the perches.

I may add some at a later date. Having a hinge is a good idea if the weather is inclement!

My pigekens are doing GREAT. They integrated into flock smoothly and in less than 5 days. ALL ONE HAPPY FAMILY
They still like to hand together everywhere they are. They do like higher altitude.

I'll be happy when it's done. The poor old fantails have been cooped up in a cage since I got them They have been very patient as if they know better is coming

I think they know they are already better off than before. They look much cleaner and happier!

Are those a special breed of fantail? Their features don't seem as "exaggerated" as others I've seen and I think that makes them look even better.
