UK pigeon owners

Hi caveman. I've seen nothing from the three missing birds so I'm assuming they are lost. I didn't receive any paperwork from the Lincoln pigeon and the guy never phoned me, so I never bothered chasing him up. I'm thinking that it may have gone back to him and he hadn't filled in the paperwork so he may have just kept it. Either way I don't think it will be a reliable bird now. It's gone missing too many times. I'm trying to keep the feral away from my loft and birds now. I'm concerned about nasties getting in. Mine are all vaccinated, apart from the babies, but it won't stop mites or lice getting in! My two squabs look like they're doing good.

I think that my wish for colour may happen, they seem to have white flights! I'm not to sure on the rest of them, when they're a bit older I'll see how much comes through on the rest of the feathers.
It will be a great thing if you can get your loft sorted again. The stand alone lofts should help clear alot of dust. Mine still gets fairly dandery especially behind the nest bowls!

Hard to keep track of all the pigies unless I would keep a spreadsheet.
Did not see any updates on the 3 missing commandos , and the confused hen from Lincoln. Did she make it back to here origins???
And,,,,,,,,,, did you get any stray ferals that want to live with you.
DW gave me the green lite to add these 2 almost pigeons to my flock. Will be here by weekend or so.

My pigeon loft is still on hold at moment. I would want a loft like Bio has. Freestanding, and well ventilated. Don't want to deal with the pigeon dust inside garage.

I can't see the pics either. I'm guessing they are chicken hens?

There is news on the rabbit front. DW has 10 rabbits + 1 elderly Guinea pig. She wants to sell 7 rabbits. They have been on preloved (English version of craigslist) for ages and no joy. So we are going to an auction at Melton Mowbray sometime in the next couple of weeks. Hopefully they should sell. And hopefully I won't come back with more chickens(like last time)! I've been planning the loft I want to build complete with avairy. I don't know wether to build from scratch or buy a shed and modify. I want to utilise the whole area. I think it was 8'×16'. That should be enough space....I hope!

Yay!!! Does this mean you might start racing? I would personally look for a shed that is the size you want, but If you can't find one, build from scratch. How big is the aviary going to be? If you are going to race, how many sections do you plan on?

Id like to start racing. Doing tosses is OK but I'd like to see how mine fare against others. I still have the problem about getting into my local club as the chairman is a nob. He is the one that lives down from me and we had a falling out prior to me having pigeons. I could join another club but it means more travelling. Also, as you know, I really really like archangels! I'm desperate to get some! So I want to have at least one section that I could put some in. So then I would need at least another two sections. One for breeders/youngsters/non flyers and another for team birds!

How are Lopers babies? Did they get all the traits you desired from him such as smaller size?
