I am just curious, what compelled you to sell your best bird!?!

Short answer Wine Women and Song. Some how with 68 trips around the sun it does not seem so compelling now. I now have close to 40 white homing pigeons. Jackson will always have a special place in my heart however.

I would say they are definitely "NOT EASILY REMOVABLE" would be more correct with small Dremel tools which are now available.

I also have the clip on type of bands.

I've ordered some clip-on bands with my phone number on. When I get my registration docs back I'll order some bands for the babies. If somebody wants to remove them they will. Some people can be very unscrupulous.

Correct. You'd have to really do some surgical moves to remove them even with a dremel, risking cutting the bird's leg, or at the very least freaking the bird out.

I might be imagining this, but I thought I had once seen some sort of device that is designed for clipping off seamless leg bands.....

Completely normal! Mine showered in the pouring rain at 33° temps.

Keep posting pics of your birds. Love seeing them. Hands across tbe water and all that, lol.

Don't know if you can get this I'm US. But I saw it when I was shopping today. It's good for cleaning anything pretty much. Including pigeon lofts! Kills all germs and bacteria and effective against PMV and Newcastle disease!
