I just upset the pigeons! I got both sets of rings today. The rpra ones for the babies and some plastic clip rings with my phone number. I had to catch the three that weren't on eggs and replace the rings for ones with my number! Job done! I've left the two on the nests until they switch over!

Is Boomer feeling better?:)

I suspect that if she doesn't get a mate, one of your 2 cockbirds will mate with her and she will lay eggs and incubate them. I base this on my observation that with 6 hens and 2 cocks - ALL of my hens have produced fertile eggs.
cheers!

She seems to be OK. Im going to let her out later for a fly. I'm not sure if she wanted to mate because she wouldn't let the missing one near her. He spent alot of time trying to woo her to no avail. But when he didn't come back i could see she missed him. I'm not sure if I want to have any more babies at the moment and concentrate on the ones I have now. Should I let them have another clutch to try and homeset them some more. I don't really want to overcrowd the loft. But if they all fly together, no overcrowding!
