UK pigeon owners

Wow... i had no idea that pigeons were such a big thing at one time other than their use in military and such. Its something that needs to be preserved and passed on. Times have chamged so much that it seems hard to get the next generation involed. I sure hope I can get it going here and that maybe one of my kids or grands will develop a love and appreciation for them.

I think I'm going to have to rename this thread to include horses now! Nansi is here. She is actually really nice. Food orientated! As soon she came out the transport head down straight to grass!

A petite beauty! Although the breed is called Welsh Pony , I understand they are considered a small horse more so than a pony. motto: "You never outgrow a Welsh" You daughter is fortunate. I was able to get many opportunities to ride but never had my own.:)

She's beautiful! :love
We have an American Shetland but she is very Hackney looking. Shes about the same age as yours now. She belongs to our 14yr old daughter, had her since dd was 7, the grands ride her now. This is grand 1 on her in the spring, Pixy still has her winter coat in this pic tho..;)

We have an American Shetland but she is very Hackney looking. Shes about the same age as yours now. She belongs to our 14yr old daughter, had her since dd was 7, the grands ride her now. This is grand 1 on her in the spring, not realy riding just checking out her new saddle, otherwise she'd have her helmet on too...
