She's beautiful! :love
We have an American Shetland but she is very Hackney looking. Shes about the same age as yours now. She belongs to our 14yr old daughter, had her since dd was 7, the grands ride her now. This is grand 1 on her in the spring, not realy riding just checking out her new saddle, otherwise she'd have her helmet on too...View attachment 1517896 Pixy still has her winter coat in this pic tho..;)
Lovely! DD I horse crazy! Everything has horses or unicorns on it. The DW is also very encouraging. She used to have a friesan before we had kids. She did alot of eventing.
We had a bit of a rough time at the old yard, the owner was a bit difficult. But this new yard is great. Everyone seems so lovely and friendly.
It's a shame we're about 3000 miles away I bet they'd love to ride together!

We had a few horses until just after we moved here. Dd is horse crazy too... as well as the grand.
I hope you continue to have good vibes at the new yard. It certainly makes it more enjoyable! :fl
I bet they'd have a ball together.. shame theres an ocean between us.

This is Granddaughter on horsie:frow
Horse belongs to the riding stable where she takes lessons. Grandson has no interest in riding horses. Just :love's baseball.

That looks great! She on quite a big horse! It does seem to be a girl thing but ironically the champion riders tend to be men!

Same with my boys. My eldest loves going and helping muck out and barrow stuff around. He rides once in a while. My middle boy just plays football and xbox!

I wonder if boys just tend to not be interested until they are a bit older? Just a thought..
