Yeah, they don't look like Rouen to me. Rouen have dark heads and back with two stripes across the eyes. Apparently (as I'm still learning myself) so do muscovies. Adorable though!

This is to funny. I've learned that ducks got to be the messiest creatures but oh so adorable. I went to get chicks and came home with a duck. Then I thought poor duck can't be by himself so I got two more...

The little one that started it all. This is Sunny...I think he is a he and loves when I talk to him--he gives me the side eye.

i had ordered what I thought were Rhode Island Reds, for larger eggs. Did my normal chick incubation, lockdown, etc. they didn’t hatch and I then got busy with work (on-call, mandatory OT) and my wife’s IVH (trying to hatch our own eggs).

This morning I hear peeps from the basement, and imagine my surprise when I see the funniest looking chicks I’ve seen....
