Unabsorbed yolk

Bigger problem now, so I have three broody ducks, two of them sit across from each other. When these babies started hatching the mom from the other nest decided she wanted these babies instead so they both were sitting on the nest. So I moved her eggs to the nest and now it's combined. Well.... now the new mom decided she wanted to kick the original mom off her own nest and then decided she doesn't want any babies. So now I have one big nest without any mom and ducklings that have their egg sacks not completely absorbed. Today is shaping up to be horrible
:hugs

That can happen with Brodie’s in the same closeness my muscovies will not brood close to one another they like their privacy. I’d just make up a fast brooder place clean towels in to give these ducklings time to absorb the yolk all the way. They won’t need to eator drink till tomorrow if they are just hatching today

@rosemary10 how are things this morning?
The 6 ducklings that hatched yesterday are doing good and running around, they seem a bit confused as to which duck is there mom though. I put the remaining eggs under two of my broody chickens, so at least they are doing something useful. Two hatched overnight and I put them in with the ducks this morning. They didn't have the yolk problem!!!!
