Unabsorbed Yolk!

Its looking really good. Keep it separated from the others until there's no blood or anything. Do you have any triple antibiotic ointment or neosporin you can put on it? Gently, of course
It's malpositioned. Most of the time they hatch just fine on their own though. Keep an eye on it, but it should be ok.
Thank you so much for the help! I do have triple antibiotic, and I probably wouldn’t open the bator anyways. I’ll update progress😊

Currently we have 17 chicks including the yolker! The malpositioned chick that had pipped towards the pointy end of the egg has made little progress throughout the day. It is trying to jab it’s tooth up, but does not hit anything. No zipping, but I have had this issue once before and the chick died from exhaustion. I’ll include a picture also.
There is another chick who pipped around the same time as the malpositioned chick, but I’m not sure if he/she is also malpositioned? I feel like it cannot turn in the egg and is having a difficult time zipping. Just like the other, he/she is jabbing at nothing, however, has pipped through the air cell. I’ll include a picture. It does seem to be placed weirdly. Definitely do not want to risk the others by opening the bator now.
Temp is 99.5 and humidity was 65% but has increased to around 75% as the chicks have hatched.

How many hours has the pointy end pipper been pipped? Do see any yawning/chewing motions?

Unfortunately the babes passed. So sad:(
The malpositioned was able to hatch.

I feel like maybe it was a yolk sac infection? Gosh I feel terrible.

Probably not, I think it just ruptured it on accident. I've had it happen before. As long as you disinfect the incubator really good it should be fine. How's the chick doing?
