Unbreakable broody hen

Meet Sid vicious she has been brooding rocks every chance she gets. I have tried breaking her in the broody breaking prison for over a week now. It just isn't working so today I gave her an egg. She is the first Broody to break me. I even gave her four eggs yesterday and moved her to a safe box so she could brood actual eggs but no those rocks were more important.

Take away the rocks one at a time and replace them with the eggs? Then once she's settled, move her to a broody pen/cave/whatever. Just an educated guess... I haven't yet dealt with a serious broody.

I like the term serious broody she is easy to handle. Nothing like my broodzilla Sumatra hen who we have named Brunhilde. I've gotten her broken in the last couple of days and I'm still healing.
