Snakecharmer,

I will post pictures of mine as soon as it is finished (hopefully by the weekend).

Its looking great. I like how you did the roosts. So is that side door going to be your only access? Reason I ask is that I have found the girls dont always lay in the designated areas and I often find myself having to get a good ways in there to fetch an egg or two that they laid in a random corner somewhere. I would say make sure your cleanout door alows you good access without having to lay face first in litter and chicken poo. I actually was originally planning on doing mine like you did but also making that side of the roof hinged but basically decided a door on the back was the lazy way to do it:D

Looks great. Would have been nice to lay linoleum before framing side walls. Easy clean up when changing litter. You might put in a 4 ft flourescent shop light over head for when you clean up. We put two in our 8x16 and are glad we did for when we work in there or go in for eggs. Ventilation is vital and you have provided it. Heat will kill more birds than cold will in the lower 48 states.

Both sides have drop down doors.

There is a single bulb, keyless fixture inside for light and an extra receptical is going to be added in the near future.

cheers
