I know how that feels.

I know so true and that is why I'm putting off buying new one. Question I have seen a rotery blade sharpener anyone have experience with one? Does it really work?

I agree I love the symbolism people are putting into the blocks. I hope everyone that does explains the symbolism.

The symbolisms in mine are: the wheel fabric is reminiscent of wood grain for the "Master Carpenter's" working w/ wood. The light colored fabric is butterflies to symbolize freedom and change. The background fabric is woodland / forest to symbolize their trek through the forests to freedom.

Mine isn't really "symbolism" per se but rather, just a hidden "picture" within the star. I don't think it will be difficult to figure out.

I checked out that forum, there is a lot of info there! I was drooling over that star paper pieced block of the week. But they are nearly finished and I have my hands full w/ this carpenters wheel ............................................ that however did not keep me from raiding my stash and finding some awesome fabrics for that project!!!!!

Just in case they do it again lol lol lol

The mystery train quilt along looked intriguing too, but don't know if I could give up so much control to work on something I don't know what it is going to be.
