It seems so high. Straight down from her beak. I tried to break it up but it's hard. Sand thing is I leave today for a week. I don't know if she will be alive when I come back. She didn't go up in the coop last night.

If you are feeling that during the day when she's been eating/drinking then it would stick out.

She's had some feather loss there, but it looks like she's got new growth coming in.
