Unique duck coops!

I am going to be changing my little empty chicken coop a bit to make it better for the ducks, and I was wondering if anyone had any unique things about their coop that make it better. If you have an idea but have not used it you can share, too. I've looked at some coops but alot of people just have the typical box with a window or two and some nestboxes. I want something different. Here's your chance to be strange, if you choose to! I have a few ideas about how to change it, but I know that there's people out there with really, shall we say, interesting, ideas. So, if anyone cares to use their imaginations extensively (OK, nothing like a coop with springs or an indoor slide for the ducks), please show me your ideas!

Not strange but practical: Laminated floor and a functioning window (sliding glass and screen) are 2 things in my coop that I am happy I had added on.

I hadn't thought of anything like that. Laminated floors sound easy to clean; I'll look into that. Love the window idea too! Thanks!

Does anyone have a good idea for a waterer in the coop? It can't take up alot of space; it just needs to keep a flood from happening in the coop. My setup they use in the brooder will probably not work too well, or I would do something like that.

For my chicken coop (still building), I was inspired by a cow planter box. Basically a simple raised box with cut outs attached to look like legs, and painted to match a cow. And a basic formed box attached at the front for the head with some ears sticking out and maybe googlie eyes with lashes. I will add a bell around it's neck for fun. The exit door is under the tail! Hubby is going to form some rubber udders and put poultry nipples so it looks like they're nursing. And the feet are wheels to move the tractor. It's for 3 chickens so the size is only 3x5.

I hope to post pics by the end of summer. We are good at starting projects, but it's those last few details that seem to lack motivation (not inspiration). Plus they always take longer than I anticipate. This small build was a great learning experience for what will and will not work. And now I have a ton of ideas how to make many different animals from the same basic layout.
