I was on my way to work this morning when I encountered 12 ducks and 1 goose laying in the middle of the road ~ I travel this road everyday and am not sure where the water is but it must be close by. They were in no hurry ... I walked them about a quarter of a mile up the road where they wouldn't risk getting hit.

    Hmmmmmm .....

    What the heck?

Alrighty little ones ... let's go!

    Smile! You're on candid camera!

Why did the duck cross the road?

They seem to have a plan now...

Have a good day little duckies and goose!

What a mixed bunch!!! I think someone left their coop door open. I am not sure, but I don't think muscovy's are wild!

I have no idea Debra ... there are some houses in that area, but they would be over a mile away. It's a more industrial type area through there. I'll watch for them over the next few days to see if they are still hanging around. They were pretty tame...

That sure was a pretty bunch of ducks. I would have wanted to scoop them up and carry them back home with me.

Quote:I don't know anything about ducks ... if they have escaped from a coop, do they have the knowledge to find food on their own?

Not sure about where you are at, but there are wild muscovy ducks in FL.
