Unlikely encounters ***Pictures***

I was on my way to work this morning when I encountered 12 ducks and 1 goose laying in the middle of the road ~ I travel this road everyday and am not sure where the water is but it must be close by. They were in no hurry ... I walked them about a quarter of a mile up the road where they wouldn't risk getting hit.

What a mixed bunch!!! I think someone left their coop door open. I am not sure, but I don't think muscovy's are wild!

I have no idea Debra ... there are some houses in that area, but they would be over a mile away. It's a more industrial type area through there. I'll watch for them over the next few days to see if they are still hanging around. They were pretty tame...

That sure was a pretty bunch of ducks. I would have wanted to scoop them up and carry them back home with me.

Not sure about where you are at, but there are wild muscovy ducks in FL.
