Weird, weird, weird.... All my "Weirdo Detectors" are sounding off a RED ALERT!!!!!

I'm glad they are gone, and that they will not be back to your home!!

I *still* don't understand WHY the Dad was there, and why the MOM was so pushy about having the son AND DAD stay over!!!! Weird, weird, weird... Did she have a date or something??

And the whole drinking plus a tent thing.... Uh-uh, nope, double weird...

I think you are right to distance yourselves, and your SON, from this family as much as possible... No good can come from associating with them...

I dont tell anyone about our food storage anymore for exactly that reason. I would never be able to turn away hungry people so if they dont know...they wont ask... mean huh?

Hi here is the update... The dad called with a hangover and sheepishly said thanks for a nice time and to call him when I have a chance..... uuhhh yeah right!

I do not have the nerve to call him yet I am still stewing.

But, They are not invited for a loooong time and only after another of one "of my little talks" to my husband. I thinks its best if we meet them. Maybe they should not come to our home. I'd really rather not see them anyway......

The mother wanted a "father son" bonding time so she said this is why the sleepover... to "camp dump it all" on my front door step!

but she did think its fun for the boys. How nice of her LOL!

I was thinking of showing up at THEIR home with a BEDROLL to watch a movie and maybe a sleepover... I just "wonder" how would they feel about that! LOL Just kidding. I am not that
"low life"

I'm foreseeing that the next time they call you insist on meeting at a somewhat nice restaurant--better than McDonalds, but not quite 5-star fine dining

Make sure you leave you wallet at home, so that it is their treat.
