In the 45 minutes between us looking into the bator checking, 2 pipped and hatched.They are sooo impossibly tiny! So peppy and determined too!
I hope others hatch soon so I can see them.

Congrats!!!! I'm just getting my bator ready to try button quail eggs (first EVER eggs). Temp is on its way up but humidity is 76%. Too high, right?
 
update- since I left this morning at 9:30 am, there are 12 more baby buttons! Jenn- if you read this- way to go on shipping me fertile, greatly packed eggs! Thank you so much!

Congrats on the chicks! I hatched out two of my own eggs a month ago, and I'm getting 20 more Tuesday. Can't wait!
 
OK- I just X'd out and had to start all over again...
here are pics of the Buttons- we cheated and held them already, we just couldn't resist holding their tiny little, almost weightless, bodies in our hands!

What will you do with them when they are older? Do people generally just keep them as pets?
