Definitely not fox droppings then... I guess coyote then... now if only I could get more pics of it. Is there anything to "lure" it into the area so we can try to get a better pic of it and then try to SSS.

True not unless you see it in the act..............but now found near where the pic was taken........odds good if coyote scat ,that was a coyote.

Guess some of us know for sure...back leg, fur color, now size of scat.........don't understand why people can't see its a coyote.

Guess a coyote was chasing a fox ,and yote had to stop to deposit the scat.

Bet even if the OP was to get a pic of a coyote, same area. We would still see post where people would say it wasn't the same critter.

What is wrong with you people? It was obviously a basilisk! The reason you aren't seeing it now is that it heard your rooster crow and that killed it.

Everyone knows that a rooster crow kills a basilisk, and since you can't find the animal again, it must have been a basilisk that died when the rooster crowed.

Yeah, but it already has really strayed way off point.

I'll put a vote in for coyote. Its barrel/girth looks bigger than a fox and its conformation looks more box-y, wereas foxes seem more long and tiny barreled.
