update day 24-not good news

The end of day 21 and still nothing. I will remain hopeful since I candled a couple of eggs and there is movement. I have to work all day tomorrow(another 16 hour shift) and my family is on hatch watch. I told my dd to come on here if she has any questions and not to intervene til she talks to me.

Ok today is my day 21. At 9:00am I found a pip on one egg. Nothing else , no peeping, no pipping, no zippin, no nothing?
Do I need to open vents? or? Humidity is at 72 and temp is right on.

Okay so I wake up this morning(friday) and I hear the cutest lil peeping coming from one, maybe more eggs. My dd called about 3pm and told me we have a crack starting on one of my white americaunas. Well I think she is trying no peeping but small pieces of egg about 1/4 diameter or therabouts have fallen off. I'm just going to wait, but dd says she was peeping alot today and rocking the egg. I thought I stay up a little bit to see what happens.

We are waiting on 2 more to pip or something, they are day 22 today.

open hatcher to candle them at this stage? or wait until tomorrow. I figured I'd give them until the day 23.

We have had 7 so far, but many more to go. ONly 1 of those has a pip. This is now day 22.
