Does she put any weight on that leg? Ever? Even just once?
And what happens if you try and straighten her foot into the correct position?
It looks like nerve damage to me - which could be from a sprain or a bruise.
She has put some weight on it. She doesn’t do anything when I straightened it— Just kinda watched me.

I think that suggests not broken. If really broken then she wouldn't be able to put weight on it.
So that leaves either nerve or tendon issues - which could easily come from a sprain of some kind.
Others may have more experience with tendon tears and avulsions which are more serious, but it could be just from bruising or a sprain.
If so, it may heal on itself but it will take several weeks.

What can you do?

Let her rest as much as she wants - basically make sure she doesn't have to walk to get food or water.
Make sure her foot doesn't get stiff - basically daily massage of her foot to keep everything nice and supple.
Possibly some additional vitamins that promote nerve healing - vitamin B for example is easy to find and safe to administer in food.

Guys… She just laid an egg in the dog crate. I thought my nephew put a toy in her crate, but lo and behold, a perfectly good egg was right next to her. Still warm, too.

My parents won’t help me. I got the chickens, so I need to pay for everything. I’m also turning 18 in 2 months, so they think it’s best I learn these decisions early. I had an emergency fund for this kind of thing put away, but I had to use it on another hen. I just want to do everything I can for her.

Keeping her rested and adding some vitamin B to her feed won’t cost you very much.

Got it. Is there a specific kind of vitamin B? Should I do tablets or something else?

B complex.

If it is nerve damage it will take a while to heal so don't be discouraged. I think it's from the leg injury and trying to get away from the hawk. It looks like she has a chunk of muscle missing and that's going to hurt and it probably feels better not to move it.

Putting a little weight on it is a good sign. She knows not to over do it while she is healing.

Perfect. Thank you so much.
