I have 5 light brahma, 2 EE and 1 naked neck... all pullets coming today also. This is my second Ideal order. The last one got to Maryland from Texas on hatch day! Got to my house the next. Babies in the morning!

My babies got here today, too!

We were expecting them to ship today and show up tomorrow. Everyone is happy and healthy. My friend and I ordered 15 total and that's exactly how many we got - no packing peanuts. We only live about 2 1/2 hours from Ideal, so maybe they didn't think we needed them. Who knows! I'm sitting next to the dog crate/brooder now and having a hard time focusing on the computer!!!

I got my order from Ideal this morning too. Not a single DOA AND I asked that all the male birds be marked and by golly, there's a little black marker pen mark on a whole bunch of packing peanut heads. What a great hatchery!! This is my first Ideal order, I've been a steady MacMurray customer but I'm impressed. I got 50 Rhode Island Reds, an EE roo baby, 3 BO girlies and one roo, and a bunch of RIR roos. Total fun!
