UPDATE! Neighbor's roo is beating up my roos! Need advise. Pix

Build a run for your birds and keep them confined.

Obviously they are not safe free ranging on your property.

No, I guess it's not safe anymore! I have spent good money making the coops safe from preditors, only to have to indure this from inconsiderate neighbors. It's ashame that I have 3 acres for them to run around on, and they can't even use it.

They do have two runs, and I'm working on another. I only let them free range when I'm home.

old roos are only good for soup, dog food or fertilizer.... use smaller calibre for the first 2, like bb gun or 22...

and for the dog, 22 or a 12 gauge. People who let their animals wander deserves to loose them.

Paintball guns work wonders!

It's less than leathal and proves a point (to a chicken or dog) at least. Could always make him something special to eat

Good luck!

Unfortunately the problem is with the first sentence in this thread:

My neighbors allow their little dogs to come onto my property and harrass my chickens.

The neighbors arent allowing that, you are. If you don't secure your own property, you can expect critters to show up again and again. If its not your neighbors chicken and dogs, it will be stray dogs. It is an unfortunate fact of life, but you can only control what is yours, and that is your property. You can defend your right to be able to have your own animals without fencing to keep animals out, and your perfectly right to do that, but you'll be fighting a long battle, and it will take away a lot of the enjoyment of having your own animals.

Animal controlis who I would call here. The "dog" catcher catches a lot more than dogs. Problem animals of any sort. They will also have a talk with the owner.

if any kind of animal comes in my yard and harms my animals he doesnt leave if they cares they would have him at home
