From what the weather people are saying, we haven't been so close to the single digits in something like 15 years. Thursday and Friday nights are going to be brrrr!

Good luck, and don't be too anxious. I was dilated to 3 and 90% for over a month with my first and for quite a while with my second. I am expecting my third Feb. 22, so i empathize with you, i am already anxious.

My first came a day early, my water broke, but i had no contractions so they gave me pitocin and from the first contraction to baby was 3 hours. With my second they induced me with cervadel??(sp) in the cervix the day after she was due and that labor was 5 hours from first contraction to baby. Hope that your labor is short too. We live about 45 min from the hospital so we won't be waiting at all after the first sign, due to our history. Any shorter than 3 hours and we might be pushing it to make it if the weather is bad at all.!!

Induction can make it a little harder on you and the baby, unless there was a medical issue, I'd let baby stay as long as he wanted.
