Update NEW PICS ON 10/11/09~COME LQQK -The baby is HERE - WOOO HOOO!!

You can leak fluid for a while and not know it. It can also cause problems for the baby if the fluid gets too low for too long. It's probably best to go ahead and call the m.d.

With my son, my panties started feeling damp right before I went to bed. Didn't tell DH, he needed to sleep if this was in fact labor. By 6 the next morning, it was more wet than damp, still no contractions but I'm known for quick labor. So we went on to the hospital. Had him 3 hours later. Go ahead and call, they may at least want to check you. Better safe than sorry.

It can totally be a little leak. Do you know what position babys head is at? If he is engaged and pretty lot, his head can act like a kind of plug and you may just leak a little. You may notice it more when you change position (i.e get up and down, etc.). I'd put something on and see what it looks like. Also, not to be graphic, but amniotic fluid smells sweet, unlike urine. (Yeah, I know, who wants to go around smelling amniotic fluid, but that's one of the ways you can tell.)

Well, hubby should be home in about 30 mins so i'm going to wait till he gets here to call, If they tell me to come in i will have to wait for him anyways cause I'm not driving his truck to the hospital !!!

Will update !!

Well I understand that.... Can it feel like a leak ??

That's how my third one was. Every time I had a silent contraction I'd leak a little. You really should call your Dr. and at least talk to him.

I would (if I were you, since I'm not) move around in a few different positions and see if you feel an increase in leaking.

My water broke with 3 of my 4, but I also had other stuff accompanying it so I knew it was the beginning of labor.

Good luck!

Baby is heads down and ive been 3cm and 90% thinned since Monday.... I put a pad on and cant see any color so not sure !! Just feels moist (on the pad)

Babys name will be Aiden Ryan Collins

Going to lie down for a min and see what happens

Clear is a good thing, if it's amniotic fluid. It means he has not poo'ed in there, yet which is what we want (for him not to). Sounds like good progress! Being a first timer and already being dialated, my guess is that his head is engaged (basically mean stuck down there and won't be moving so will/can be plugging the amniotic fluid from coming out for sure).

I like the name!

(Not that my opinion matters! hehe)
