Update on Blue Orp Charlie Boy now 8 months old

He is such a great personality. I am waiting with bated breath for a fertile egg. He is finally crowing and he is breeding but I may have to trim vent feathers. Not getting fertile eggs yet.

I can't resist fluffy butts.

Wonderful boy, Julie! You know, way back when Suede first started breeding Skye and Velvet, I had to trim fluff to get any fertile eggs. I haven't had to do it with Dusty and Smoky, but I dont know why. Maybe Suede's technique is perfected so that the fluff doesn't get in his way anymore, LOL.
