*~*UPDATE PICS*~* 3/15/09 chicks and my duckling

now her araurcanas are not ees they are pure so good luck with finding more and hopefully one that can ley this color green you like good luck

On my last two hatches I had to put the last bunch of 15 in the hatcher and hand turned them because the bator was full. I opened the top completely and hand turned within 5 minutes, closed the lid til next time and watched the temps closely, No problems with humidity and rarely had to do any temp adjustments that hatch. I ended up hatching 8 out of 15, which was good for mailed eggs.

How are you monitoring your temperature. I have a 1602N and just set my first eggs yesterday. I have 4 thermometers and all of them read differently! Anyway from 99F to 106F. I'm going crazy trying to figure out which one I should believe!

I HAVE 2 thermometers/hygrometers IN THERE they are usually 1 degree at the most off from each other the temp does jump around but it is not quick jumps, you just have to learn how to use the vent holes along with the dial to work together good luck

i did i candled for the very first time ever and i did it im doing something right i saw veins and the black dot was like pulsating, but i have a question the inside of the egg was covered in little specks all over the place only on inside not on the outside what was this?
