Hi Zig Zag. Keep your eggs cool and in a dark room. I don't think you should wait more than about six to seven days.
After you get about three days from hatch, close the incubator and don't open it again. Keep your humidity at about 65. Keep your chicks in the bator until they are all hatched and dry. Chicks can live up to three days without food or water in the bator.
I did put a lid off a jar with marbles in it and water in the bator for my chicks to drink which they are doing. The marbles are interesting so they peck them and discover there is water there. The marbles also keep them from drowning.
