(UPDATE!!) Red not getting better * PSU Replied!

Ok I just took her temp again and it was 104.7 Thats more duable than 108.8 . Still hopeing for a response on the tylenol. Thanks for the support!

If she is still alive in the morning then I would definitely get the Tylan. If I were not three states away I would give you some of it tonight. I realize her quality of life hasn't gotten better over the two weeks but I had a barred rock rooster a while back.meanest thing I ever seen in my life. Would attack me and my wife every time we went in the pen. He got sick and I was giving him penicillin and durmycin10. One day he would seem a little better, the next he would be worse
By the third week he could hardly hold his head up.the whole time he was sick he would pant, gurgle sneeze, all kinds of stuff. I was going to put him down but my buddy asked me if I had given him Tylan and told him I thought it was only for pigs. He have me some in a syringe and gave that rooster 0.6 cc every other day for a total of three doses and in only one week he was crowing and savaging us again when we came in the pen. I know that was a long story but the point is there is always hope and maybe she just hasn't got the right meds yet.

I was searching for info on the tylenol. It's not the best choice, aspirin is much much better. If you've already dosed her, don't give her any more. I found sites that said it could be harmful, but other reports of people frequently dosing their poultry with tylenol and having no ill affects. I don't necessarily think you've done anything wrong, but I wouldn't continue with it.

Tylenol and motrin are the two meds that I have the right here right now and no I have not given it to her yet. I also have an Asprin powder that is ment for horses but I don't know how to dose that out for her.

She is finally resting easy on my lap right now, sleeping, no panting finally.....
