I order from them often and they're not perfect all the time, but I haven't had any serious issues that couldn't be resolved, easily, with an e-mail or phone call. I buy all kinds of things, camera stuff, printers, books, etc.

I'm on Amazon all the time. Heck, if there's nothing good on TV, I'll read negative reviews of books and movies (they're usually quite entertaining if they're written well and not just someone on there saying OMG avatar sux!!!!!!!!). I buy my Seventh Generation laundry detergent on there as well as many other things.

The only time I had a issue was when I ordered an out of print children's book for DD and it got lost in transit. I did get a refund though.

Amazon is a wonderful resource.

Remember that what you buy there might come from Amazon themselves, or someone else. They act as a sort of broker or listing site for other companies & for private individuals, as well.

So, some things are bought from Amazon themselves. Some items are bought from someone else but shipped by Amazon. Some things are shipped from other companies & some things (especially used books & media items) are bought from private individuals, in a way similar to half.com

You do have the possibility of having minor problems on occasion if you buy a lot, but this will generally be in purchases from private individuals. I've only had problems a time or two and I've ordered more times off Amazon than I can count...

I even ordered a CD from Amazon once that came from one of their secondary suppliers. I got the CD with no problem but the supplier failed to notify Amazon, so Amazon cancelled the charge. I notified the seller, but they never did anything about it, so I basically got the CD for free. That's the only time something like that has happened, but I order lots of other stuff from them; it's the only place I can get Oxine, for example. I try to use local sources, but if I can't find it locally, I go to Amazon.

I do the same thing, love amazon. The shipping program is great if you buy alot. I use mostly for christmas but have the super saver shipping. I used to use ebay but had problems several times. I did buy a car on ebay and got a great deal. But Amazon is dependable I no longer feel ebay is.

Guess what? DO NOT BEND was not stamped on the package.
Guess what? The post office said that they are not responsible because it wasn't insured.
Guess what? The post office said that if the package does not say "DO NOT BEND:, then they will shove it in anyway that fits.
Guess what? I'm

Guess what? The size of the tin sign was 12.5 x 0.1 x 16 inches ; 1.2 pounds
Guess what? I'm so upset, I better go calm down.
Guess what? I'm open to any suggestions and advice that you all have at this time.
