I am back, I had to watch dirty jobs. They both look like boys to me because of the red comb and the coloring. If any of them are part dominique I'd say it would be them, their breast almost looks barred.

Dont give up hope yet. Are the breast feathers actually barred like in a dominique or does it just look like it? If you are determined enough you should be able to get some good silver pencilled wyandottes from them. With chickens anything is possible.

Back to the mystery chick. I only see white showing on the neck and on the 'shoulder' feathers. What is the breast like? What about the wing feathers, are they solid black?

maybe ill make these my project birds.....theres as tad white in the neck....then its sorta wierd, but the only white on its back is like a line (more like a slit) right down the center of some feathers. i dont think there is anything on its chest

the ones that are penciling are not quite barred, theyre just confused i think lol.....theyre trying to go more penciled, but i think theyre just bad quality.....ill know more in a month? lol

you know their backs look more "laced" and their breasts look more barred lol....i dont know....thats what i gather from looking at the pics....i dont feel like walking down two flights of stairs right now to go look at them lol

eta: im trying to email you more pics and
the one on the right thats supposed to be roo lol.....has a more blended look, which is another reason i thought that one was roo and the other one a pullet

Okay. You will know for sure in a few weeks as they get more feathered out. It looks like the mystery chick has fewer feathers too so maybe a sexlinked slow feathering going on? If that were the case then the black chick would be male and the others would be female but they look the other way around.

darn ebay!!! i had just emailed her too asking for more cuz i thought idk what happened but i did get 2 normals outta the bunch which made it worth it.....now idk
