Updates on my sick golden Laced wyandotte

I would just try to make her as comfortable as possible. Leave food and water within reach, but I wouldn’t try forcing anything on her. If she is regurgitating things back up, it may mean she has a blockage caused by the swelling, in which case forcing more down her may simply add to her discomfort.

I feel for you and your hen. It’s so hard to see those in your care doing poorly. We always want to make everything better, but sometimes it’s beyond our control.

I brought her some water and after about 5 seconds she finally opened her eyes and drank quite a bit. I was happy to see that. I put a little food near her but she wasn't too interested. I want to give her soft foods that are easy to eat

Yeah, shes not doing well. She's been laying with her eyes closed all day. She only opens them if I physically lift her up, or sometimes just walk in the door. I just dont know if I should force feed her or force water or force medicine, or just leave her alone. She's been staying strong and staying alive, but I think she's giving up. I just don't know if theres anything I can do at this point for her.
