I just called UPS. They have closed the case and will not answer any questions I have. I spoke with a supervisor who said I would have to speak to the shipper.
I repeatedly asked how they could close a case when nothing had been resolved, it was UPS saying they were not responsible end of case. Again I was told I could contact the shipper and they could dispute the case if they wanted. I asked about the oil damage to the box and oil on the hatcher, they said the CASE WAS CLOSED and could not discus it with me, only the shipper.
UPS is taking NO responsibility in any way shape or form even though additional insurance was purchased and the oil that was soaked through the box and onto the hatcher was clearly from shipping with UPS.
