I was looking for a thread with chicken lovers around where I live. I see this thread hasn't been visited in a while, but it's worth a try.

I have 4 week-old, broody raised chicks that I'll need to rehome. 2 of them are barred rocks, 1 is a cochin, 1 is a cochin x barred rock and one is a mix (buff with feathered feet, really cute, but I don't know who the parents are).

They are adorable and will be ready to go in 2 weeks. If interested, let me know and I'll post pictures. Thanks!

Everyone's over on the thread called, NY chicken lover!!!! It's the busy place! Your chicks sound so cute! We're still too much in the city for any more birds though.

We'll have to wait until we get to the country! We have a rooster cochin silkie cross and he's a riot, a cochin silkie frizzle hen, and a silkie hen who seems very shy. They live in our back hall in a TSC coop and we're with them all day long! They hatched end of Dec '13; we're still waiting for that first egg.

Thanks, why do birds! I'll check that thread.
Your birds must be adorable! I think silkies are so cute. I actually have BOs. One went broody back in May and I decided to give her some fertile eggs to hatch. She is a very good mother to the chicks.
