*URGENT*! Baby Bird eggs Found! *IT HATCHED!!!*

Thanks guys, I tried the suet/yellow cornmeal/peanut butter mix. He seems to have trouble

swollowing it. Is this normal? He can't stand correctly..He just kinda lays there with

his beak wide open

There is feed specific for tube feeding baby macaws, cockatoos ect. Many pet stoes carry it now a days. This would be better to try and feed since you could keep it on hand and mx as needed.
 
Try and get the baby parrot food, its powder and you can make it into a very mushy consistency, it has all the nutrients he needs, get a dropper or syringe and keep him very warm. Im sure it says online but I think I fed my babies every hour or two but just a little bit at a time

Was he under a heat lamp?? It looks like it in the pic. That might have been to much for him. If the other one hatches try a heating pad. Don't feel bad you did the best you could!

You could have just let him die out in the cold. I would also be prepared with the hand feeding formula in case the other hatches.

Yes, but it was WAY up over him. I don't think the

heat could have gotten to bad, if thats what you meant.

Could he have choked? The other egg was cracked, so it wont hatch... Thanks for the help

I don't know if I could have handled a baby bird. I would

have most likely taken him to an expert.
