By now, if it is Mareks, it is probably a death sentence. Once symptoms kick in most people go ahead and cull the bird. Their quality of life will be significantly reduced anyway as there is no treatment. You may try to get her tested first just in case, though. That is up to you.

Paralysis can be off and on with this disease. I would bring her inside and isolate her from everyone else just to reduce risk of infecting others if it is something else.

There is a chance that though they’re probably already infected, your other birds will not develop symptoms thanks to their being vaccinated. But again, Silkies are more susceptible. You won’t know until it’s too late.

Thank you for the response. I think I will keep her inside for bit and see how this goes. I don’t have anyplace out here that can test for Mareks, but I don’t want to cull her until I have a better idea of her condition considering she is getting perkier by the minute since eating and drinking. I know you said it can come and go… so I will bring her inside and see if it happens again.

That's good. I'd get some b complex tablets from the grocery store and give her 1/3 of one every day for a few weeks.

I’m seeing several supplements listed not too far from the top of the list. You might supplement with a B vitamin tablet anyway, though.
