US citizens do you know you you lack a very basic right?

Yep. Possibly the most effective, too. Goes by the various names of Remington, Winchester, Kalashnikov, Marlin, Bushmaster, Colt, Smith & Wesson, H&K, etc. etc.

Those, and the Farm-To-Consumer-Legal-Defense-Fund comes to mind.

So, what does the FTCLDF do that's worthwhile? The website is comprehensive and active but do they get off their behinds and lobby politicians? Remember that they are up against big money corporations and need to make a lot of noise outside the restaurants where they are entertaining your elected representative.

But before you do, check each candidate's exact position - voting on party lines played a big part in getting us in this mess. I know that's probably not what you meant, but still, I felt the inane need to state the obvious.

I blame the OCD.

I assume that you are joking and would never raise a gun against a someone enforcing the law. There are three subjects that are used to wreck good threads and guns is one of them. Perhaps we can keep them out of this, please.

It's MOSTLY a joke. Active rebellion, no, of course not, for both moral and pragmatic reasons. Let's face it, though, the Feds are getting arrogant. They don't give a crap about us, they're ignoring the law, and the system isn't working. I take Lee's position: "Save in defense I shall raise my sword on none."

Will now leave the subject of defiance alone, and will go back to a discussion of futile ways to make progress.

Well, they are representing the farm where we buy raw milk in their lawsuit against WI's DATCP.

I WOULD suggest nullification or secession, but everyone goes ballistic if these perfectly legitimate (and at this point necessary) options are mentioned.
