Useing a electronic rodent reppelant neer chickens?

I am thinking on hooking one up outside in my coop erae, i have something steeling eggs and i am not so happy, i found an hole under my silkie showgirl pen floor, i dont think it is a snake hole, the floor is a pallet and it looks like something may be liveing under there.
I have this Wietech Transonic Cix and i dont know if would hurt the chickens or scare them, what do all think?
It has 3 settings
it goes like this
fleas, ticks, crawling insects ( hmm i wonder if it will work for mites too)
spider, flying insects
bats and mice- quiet
rodent pest - med
small animals - loud

Probably won't bother the chickens any more than the other animals they list. Hate to be the one to tell you--but someone else will anyway--those things just don't work.
