Hi all, I'm on a SUPER tight budget, I mean like, the hardware cloth is going to be difficult to save for tight, LOL. Anyway, my house has some old interior doors in the garage ceiling (along with lots of 1X4's and such. I'm wondering if I could use those doors, hollow though they be, to roof my coop if I put roofing on them (tar paper, trim and asphalt shingles)? I wouldn't try using them for the floors... but maybe a wall??? Bad idea? Is it easy for animals to tear into? we have rats, mice, opossums and the worst of the worst, raccoons.
Seems a shame to not use such big flat "boards" LOL
