USPS will deliver like that. i once got a package deliverd to me that was destroyed. no contents were left in it at all but they delivered the box anyway. what a retarded operation that is. i went down and complained and the response was "we would not deliver a package in that condition"....BS! here it is! my neighbor SAW him deliver it!

Epoxy may eat into the styrofoam, when installing styro crown moldings they use caulking adhesive. This will repair your bator, if you have to make a repair. You should be able to get this at your local hardware, Lowe's or Home Depot. Just ask a clerk they will get you the right stuff just tell them it is for Styro crown moldings.

As stated above, if you make any attempts to repair the unit, you can kiss any assistance from ebay/paypal goodbye. Once you do that, you OWN it. And since this is an EBAY auction, you need to file through them initially, not PayPal.

Have you contacted the seller?

The USPS moves tons of mail daily. Much of it is also handled by other carriers (UPS/FEDx). Packages are loaded in the belly of planes (so who knows what happens when they hit turbulance). I think the USPS mail service does an amazing job. For a few $$$ you can ship a lot of stuff all the way back and forth and up and down this country. They even provide boxes in some instances. Most of it arrives fine.

I don't think that incubator should have shipped only it's packing box. Styrofoam is somewhat fragile. It should have been doubleboxed with some padding.

Yes I have contacted the seller and she is getting back with me latter. I'm not going to do a thing to the bator till i know for sure that im screwed. Again, I know that the USPS does a good job and that they touch a lot of packages. My point is that this damage is very evident and extreme. i just can't see how the post office can put an 11inch gash in a box and just tell me, "Sorry there is nothing we can do"

I had something mailed to me once and when I recieved it the envelope was torn badly and the product inside torn and most of the contents spilled out somewhere along the way to me.. wrapped all around the envelope (and in a ziplock bag) was an appology letter from the PO... lol i got an appology which was nice but it was un-needed because I knew they weren't going to do anything about what happened. I do appreciate the ziplock baggie though kept the rest of the contents in

That would be so upsetting to buy an incubator a new one i assume and it be damaged... it's a complete shame...BUT if like the other poster said if you are SOL there is things you can do to fix it but it doesn't change the fact that you didn't get what you bought
