So Wendy, I decided this morning to see if I feel any movement, or hear any peeps. My poor 5 year old was just sitting there talking up a storm to them, almost willing them to make noise. Anyways I candled them, and they look different then at 18 days. I don't see any movement in the eggs like I was at 18 days, they were active on 18 days. We put them back in the incubator. But I think I screwed up somewhere. I feel awful about it too. Gary, I'm so so sorry!
I had my 5 year old take some photo's of the candling. They are bantam eggs so they are small. Any tips on the next hatch, we are going to try again. I almost don't want too, because I don't want to kill off more little chick. But my daughter really wants too, so we will try again.

The more eggs you put in, the better chance you have of some hatching. Plus, if you figure half of the chicks will be roos... you need to put even more eggs in! (Isn't this what they call chicken math?
