Utah!

Kimmy, was it you that's getting rid of the Exchequer? I think she is the sister to mine. What's her name?

Just thought it was cool.
I'm not actively trying to get rid of her, I feel guilty. But she has been a fairly poor layer and still hasn't started this spring. Her name is Checkers. It's really creative I know. :)

That is awesome. Mine is named Chelsea

She goes through spurts where she refuses to lay for a while. I think she's just too spoiled. She's been laying well for me in the last little while, though (knock on wood). Well, maybe at some point I could trade you one of my layers for Checkers, if you decided to get rid of her? I would just take her for you, but I'm trying to whittle down the number of girls in my flock, so I can't actually added any right now without making a vacancy.

Went to Cal Ranch, won't ask what did I bring home, because one thing is different. A little duck was dieing. I asked if I could have it. Brought it home..along with another puffy cheek and sexling..can't help it..I love them. This puffy cheek one has more blue than black. Anyway, here is a photo of the baby duck. Not sure what kind it is. I told DH, that I was going to give it electrolytes, and that would either help, or do it in faster. It is still breathing. Fast. I am not worried about it having an illness. They did say that 6 of them now have gone..counting this one. It was being trampled on by the others, and they had just come in this morning, so my guess is, some got trampled on pretty good.

What kind of duck is this? Poor baby. At least it isn't be trampled on now.

Is there anyone in the Logan area that has some frizzle chicks they would be willing to sell. My wife has been trying to find someone with them. She only wants a few of them and we don't have an incubator to hatch them out ourselves, so we would need chicks.

Lisa, do you have frizzles?

I have a frizzle hen, but no frizzle chicks. Welcome Hgillins! Oh dear if someone answers yes they have frizzle chicks right here in town I won't do so well on my promise not to get more chicks right now. :/ Haha :) I know you can usually special order them at the North IFA in Hyde Park.

saw something funny today. one of our dogs walked close to the chicken run and my buff orp (the one i got from you cynthia) charged her and kicked the fence and it literally made the dog jump and pee

Good chickie!! I had a BO that charged my little dog that thought it would play with the chicken, the chicken didn't want to play. I actually have some sequence photos..here, let me share.
