Anyone going to the Utah county fair? I have a steer and a lamb in the show. It is next week. I think I will enter some of my chickens next year into it. I also have a steer and a lamb in the state fair this year too.

Congrats sundance! Those are some pretty birds. I love the little frizzle cochin. I have a white frizzle from you now. I know it's one of Hurculese, who is the mama..pure white little girl..will she get lager than a cochin? Also, a blue frizzle. And, that one that looked to be a legbar to you, is a girl. I am loving the little one from the white egg. It looks like a Unicorn right now. They are all pretty..frizzly.

Iluv, I'm glad your baby is coming around. You really are doing a great job. I think she still looks pretty..she right? Has to feeling much better. They were sucking the life out of her. :/

I can't say about size. Some of Hercules babies are quite large some stay really small. The cochin girl I bought from a little girl at chicken stock and she is stunning.

sundance, silly me..I asked you if she would get lager than a cochin..meant..cochin bantam! The white frizzle is larger than the blue and the partridge one that you said is a legbar mix. I love that white one. Lots. The blue has the cutest tail. With the frizzle outline and it fans out so cute. They aren't done yet, they still have baby fuzz, of course, they aren't that old yet.

I would if I were closer! I sprout fodder all winter long I have just been using the animal grade wheat from IFA

Love- love- love sprouted wheat. I'll sprout anything I have. Last week I found an old bag of Western Family Lintels. They sprouted overnight! Cheep and easy! I found a inexpensive bird seed that sprouted great too! I think we're having too much fun!

Heck ya! Cheap bird seed is a fun idea. I have done wheat, millet, and oats, the oats got stinky really fast even though I was rinsing them 2xday...probably won't do those again.

Lisa, here a few of the NN. Soo pretty. Sweet too. That's an EE,
and my Barred Rock that I think just plopped an egg on the floor
today..it got eatan of course. Just egg yolk stuck to the floor.

Maybe it's starting to look like a mohawk..lol Came from a small
white egg.

The white frizzle, and a head shot of my splash silkie.

The dark frizzle is a boy I do believe. It has white spots all over
the body, had a spot on it's head as a younger baby. There's the
legbar mix. Isn't showing just how frizzly it is here though. Cute.
That white one came from some EE eggs I hatched. Came from
a real pretty blue egg.

Ok, it looks like a peacock! ha .. that little black one is so cute
Had to bring DH out to look at it. He was just chuckling. Nice
shot of the white frizzle. Love her. Hope she gets to be a nice
size. And, there is that cute tail again on the blue!
