Utah!

Hello Angus… there are several folks in the Utah County area, I'm sure they will chime in with a hello.

SideWing thanks for the information, and yes J-Clips are something learned and not a natural thing. I would do as you are with you nice birds. It just makes me crazy that we only have one season per year. And where one only has two birds, best to make hay while the sun shines. I've to think on a solution that will work for me, in regards to hatching year round. Does anyone else have a thought or two on the topic, I would like to listen to as much experience as the members here would like to share.

Ok I set eggs. Like every single one in sight. Some are muddy, I didn't have the self control to toss any. Scared to wash them much so I am closing my eyes and hoping. Crossies lol

Here we go hatching 2016. @Cynthia12 ...

wow thats alot

It will be a miracle if they are very fertile. They were collected during that pretty bad cold snap. We'll see! Hoping the next batch will be better, the roos are starting to "participate". :D I feel like I need to set my own for a bit until fertility goes back up I don't want to send hatching eggs that aren't hatching lol

I hatch some chicks at Christmas time. I'm afraid to hatch anymore because coop is almost full. I keep telling myself to wait. But my incubator keeps calling me. I have seven chicks in the house right now.

I may be getting rid of a Cream Legbar Rooster soon. Any one interested in one?
