Utah!

Well, you should at least try to sell them to recoup your losses. I'm sure you could get $5 or so at least on KSL. From how light they were at hatch, I assumed that mine would all be splash, with *maybe* Zuli being a little darker. I'm seeing a little more red in the wings than expected. Want me to take a pic of a couple of my chicks' wings before you toss out the batch?

I already have a lady from Goshen that is taking them. She sounded so excited.
Hey, is it snowing up there? It is dumping here!

Overcast, but no precipitation at all. I have a friend in SF, but off a little canyon, and she's posting all kinds of snow pics.

Cynthia, glad that baby that had the bent neck is okay. Forgive me for asking, but do you still have hatching eggs? I've lost track of who has what going on, hehe.

I am pretty sad today. Something got into my coop in the wee hours of the morning and killed two of my hens, and one of them was the leghorn that was my favorite. I think it was a raccoon, and tomorrow I will be getting a trap to set out for that thing. It wasn't big like a dog, but whatever it was, the greedy little stink ate half of the one hen and then went back to try and get another. By the looks of things, the second hen, my SLW, really fought to stay in the coop and it didn't get much of her. I hate raccoons.

At least it didn't get any of my chicks, which are locked up good in the shed.

Omigosh, those kids are soooooooo cute!!!!!! Adorable! Is quads kind of unusual? It seems like I've heard twins are fairly common, but I didn't know quads happened often. I've been toying with the idea of getting a fainting goat.

Red, I'm so sorry for the loss of your hens. I would be devastated. I hope you catch the critter.

They are so darn cute, My does are due anytime...I'm so excited!
