Utah!

Both are adorable!! :)
Ok, you all have made me very happy..along with more votes on the girl look when I put it on the gender thread too. I think it a beautiful bird. Lisa, if your black girls look like that, they are pretty! Lisa, those are darling babies. What breed are they again? I'm too tired to go back and check. I'm waiting up for our son to get home. Prom night.
Very disappointing things happened just about an hr. before he was to be picked up. No Pants! They didn't put pants in with his Tux! Dad had to hurry and go clear to Orem to get the pants. The thing that messed them up was, there was a stain on the vest that he first tried on. The guy took it back to get a new one, brought it back without the pants! Maybe our son learned something here..check things like that out when he gets home. But, DH and son had checked it out before they had the vest changed..they saw the pants..but the guy took the whole bag back there with him. Anyway, I'm upset I didn't get to see the girl. He went to pick her up, called, said he would come back after they ate. Well, the Prom is up at Sundance, didn't see him after dinner, I'm sure they were wanting to get up there, that's quite a drive. I'm wondering if they will drop him and his date off here so we can see her. Dad went to lay down and wait. I am glad I got pictures of him at least before he went.
And we got a new dog today. :)) A Dachshund.

Casa we jinxed HenRee she became a little #%#% over night holy smoke what a terror. The boss put her in isolation see what happens. Let me know when you are heading down I will see if its available. Glad to see that new one blended in nicely to bad about your eggs.

Janel where is that nursery at? Never heard of it.

A little update on my coop since it was so nice we finally got it painted.

The breeding /brooder run

The big girl run with access to the open range run

The door on the right is for the kiddos bantams

Now I just need to shingle it and wire and paint the feeders and it is done.

And my old coop remodeled and painted. This is where my phoenixes will be housed

Had to put some strawberry boxes in front. To the left will be another covered run when done.
Wow! Love your coops..that new one is very nice..great job! Lucky chickens!!

Ha ha! Just for fun, found my Prom picture that my mom took with our trusty little Polaroid. This was my football hero in high school. Good kid.

Ok, now for chicken pictures... Picture overload! Again!!
The black Ameraucana from outside
Pretty wide nasal area, but I've had girls with that before..so not sure???
My miracle babies.. 4 blues, and 2 blacks..
A lot still have that sticky stuff on, so the puff isn't out! I can tell this one is puffy though
See the flat head, poor baby, still sticky, thinking girl on this one for sure. Well, almost sure. :p

Phoenix, your coops look great! Nice job!

Cynthia, love those new chickies. I especially love the picture of the one blue that's a pudge muffin. Way to go! Your black Amer. looks like a girl to me, if I had to guess. I think my gray EE has kind of a wide snout like that. I'll try and get a picture of her for you to compare. Love that little happy, smug look on her face in the second picture, hehehe. Your girl is very pretty! How old is she?

Birdguy you are a marketing guru. You are hired. You are going to need a long rest after that is over! Are you selling any chickens? Don't you have icelandics?

I have icelandics in the incubator that are 1/2 cooked... hopefully I'll have a good hatch rate and have some for sale at the Chickenstock. might have some heritage turkey poults as well.. Could have a pure black nubian buckling if anyone is interested.. otherwise, I'll leave him out to the barn.. LOL

If you're talking about the young Black Ameraucana outside, she is around a month old, would have to look. I really thought it looked like a girl with the feathering in the beginning.

See you Tues? I'm excited to meet you! Oh, I took pics earlier of my mixes, and my Exchequers..just didn't get them on.
The ones with the dark spots on the heads are the EE's. Then there are a couple of reds, and a couple of buffs. One buff for sure, is feathering out, has quite the tail already. On the right also..one of the EE's looks good to be a girl. See the wings and the tail? Some of the others don't have tails yet.
My Exchequers' and my Silkie. It's going to be funny seeing a Silkie running in a flock of Exchequers. :) Of course I won't be keeping all of the Exchequers.
They are hiding in the corner..they think, from me.
