Oh, man. Twenty-one pages to catch up on. I have been so busy and so tired. I know I'll kick myself tomorrow for staying up this late to check the forum. I hope everyone is doing well.
Got five turkey eggs from birdguy at Chickenstock and put them under my broody turkey last night. Got her and the eggs moved into a carrier tonight, and I think I am going to put food and water dishes in with her. She looks beat. Got to meet some more chicken people at the 'stock and chat poultry, and got to ride with the wonderful Lisa there and back. Lisa, I am so glad I caught you in time to carpool! I was seriously falling asleep on the way up to Logan. It were mighty scary. Got to cuddle with Sasha's banty Wyandotte, Clay. What a sweetheart. Made me wish so bad that my Wyandotte girls were bantam and that I didn't already have roosters. I was so disappointed that no one would buy him. He needs an excellent new home!
My greenhouse blew over today
Lost some of the plants I was sprouting in there and broke one of my good, big pots. Greenhouse won't stand up straight now, so I gotta fix it this week. I was so upset. It was just the straw that broke the camel's back today. My broody EE seems about done with being broody. her baby is now roosting on his own and not tagging along after her all of the time. And I checked the eggs under my broody Wyandotte. All three from the Welsummer pullet are infertile; the other four from various girls are developing and becoming quite dark.
Headache says go to bed. Good night, all. Take care!
