Utah!

Just got back from the fair! My two boys both got 1st (in breed and there were not too many of these kinds lol)

BUT...my WCB Polish pullet got 1st in breed, Best in class and best LF overall. Yay! 2 trophies, I have never ever had a trophy before for anything. Pretty happy

She sure did look pretty. The guy running the chickens said had she been just a bit older she would likely have done even better, and been a candidate for GC or Reserve GC. Her wattles were not quite ready yet. So maybe next yr we will try again? I cannot imagine her tail staying so nice for a whole year! That does not happen so much with all the chickens out there

They had some really cool looking game birds, which also made me wonder if any were yours? the really long legged Modern Game chickens were freaking us out, My DH is going to want some of those now :p Yay Cynthia! Glad some are hatching for you! Can't wait to see.

Wendy that sounds great! I don't mind taking the Roo, until he starts crowing and then he will need to go. My neighbor this morning says to me over the fence while I'm cleaning out the baby run... When did you get chickens, I never knew you had any back there till last week when that naughty Silkie started crowing. Which I was so happy they never noticed. I'm down below to my legal limit now, but a few weeks ago I was way over. hehehe. She said that they totally aren't bugging them, and that she would love some eggs when they get laying. So since she doesn't care, and if I give her some eggs every week with they start laying. I'm sure I will be totally fine if I go a few over my limit for a while with all the Bantams coming.

How old are the chicks? I have some that are 3-6 weeks old right now in the grow out pen. I wonder if I can through them in with them. I have 2-six weeks and then 4-3 week olds out there, and they all get along great right now.

Maybe if you find a way to bring them down, do you think you can pick up my Polka Dot NN, I have to have a spotted chicken. I can't believe how awesome they look. I can meet anyone in Salt Lake if needed.

And if anyone wants a Bantam I can send it north with Wendy. I have plenty to share, just wish I knew what was coming. Hopefully they all we be happy and healthy tomorrow morning.
if you have any RIR Bantams i will take them.

I'm so excited right now, its like Christmas Eve. If I could I would be bounce off the walls. I can't believe I'm this excited to be getting 32 chicks in the mail tomorrow. I'm such a tard! I think I have everything ready for them. Cleaned out the food and water dishes, fully washed out and dried. Clean out the brooder, and its all ready with brand new shavings, and the light is in place, just needs to be turned on in the morning to have it all nice and warm. I feel like camping out down there to watch for the express truck! I hope they all are okay in the morning, and I hope they all made it. Poor little things.

Now what am I going to do with 25 Bantam chicks.....Now please have 1 Silkie, 1 Japanese, and 1 Serema, the rest can all be re-homed. :D I just hope I can figure out what some of them are so they can get re-homed fast! Hope you all are ready for picture bomb of like 3 pages worth of photos tomorrow, okay maybe just one full page.

Lisa, not sure when Wendy was planning on figuring out how to get the Polka Dot girl down here, but I have plenty of room and buddies for her as of tomorrow. If anyone is going by her house, please let me know, I can even meet someone up in Salt Lake area just about anytime during the week.

Gary, if I have any I will let you know, I have know idea what they are sending, its the mystery 25 Bantams, but I'm sure if there are RIR, I'm sure I can pick them out if they look like a standard red with the black eye liner and the dark stripe on the top of the head. I'll let you know, and I can even drop them off or meet you with them.

So excited for/with you! Can't wait to see the pics. Photo-bomb away. Will let you know when we can get the chick to you. Definitely within the next couple weeks I will be coming that way, and I have a hatch of them every week so you can have whichever age you want . I have 6 from the last hatch, am keeping 2 so there are still 4. Also 2 blacks that look like showgirls, except the comb is single on one. Their skin is getting really dark. And I am noticing a few of the NN lighter skinned ones are turning darker too. Will pm you with pics before so you can pick one out.
