Welcome, Erycka! I don't have any chicks of that age. I have a 10ish old week cockerel that I'll give you for FREEEEEEE, but he's getting pretty big, so it may not be a good fit. I'm glad to see someone in the northern part of the state. I live in Clinton.
I do have 4 FBCM, but they're only 2 weeks old, and their mama would be crushed if I took them away just yet. I know someone here was interested in them, but I can't remember who. I'm thinking I have 3 pullets and a cockerel; very good looking chicks.
However, saying all that, I know that a few chickens in my flock have worms (omg ew ew ew ew ew). The cayenne pepper and squash seeds did NOTHING for them. So, I bought that Rooster Booster dewormer that can be added to their food and is safe to eat the eggs during treatment. I don't want to rehome any of my birds until I know this worm thing is under control.
Cynthia, didn't you and I create the Winco Meeting Spot (TM)? I saw your flood pictures on facebook. That is CRAZY how much rain you got. It barely sprinkled here.
Yay AceMario on your new incubator!!!! And good luck on the upcoming baby. I have fertile eggs if you want to buy a few to go in your incubator, but they'd be barnyard mix. COOL mixes, as it'd be an olive egger or the like.
Red, I'm glad Betty is ok, and that you're able to smooth things over with the neighbor.
My hens are doing a terrible job of laying right now. Over the summer, I was getting around a dozen a day, but for the last week or so, it's been 4 a day. Ugh. There's definitely some molting going on, and I've heard that the worms can interfere with egg production, so I figure it's a combination of the two.
