Utah!

Ok, my best guess on these chicks is an OEGB, a Cochin - possibly GL - and an Egyptian Fayoumi. Let me know if you're interested. I'll get pictures later. Got a sick hubby to take care of tonight.

Is the Cochin a Bantam or LF? I would be interested in taking them. I have 2 day old chicks they can go in with. The Egyptian looks amazing!

Perfect! I can't tell on the Cochin, honestly. It may be LF. They are all very sweet. And I take back the GL guess on it - the wings and tummy are blue.

Where are they at? I'm actually going to Bluffdale tonight for dog agility. I'm up there from 5:30-6:30. I just think that the Egyptian would be so cool to have outside. And the game bird can go right along with my little stinker, the Japanese Bantam. Do you know if they are sexed?

I need to go outside and see what that silly girl is up too, not sure if she is set on being broody or not. She did have 15 eggs after all, I moved her, which didn't fly over very well, and then I blocked her from going where she was nesting. So it will be interesting to see what she does today.

The Egyptian I'm pretty sure is a pullet, and the OEG might be, too. I have no idea yet on the Cochin. I have them out in Tooele, but I'm sure we can figure something out. I work evenings in Murray. You're in Eagle Mountain, right?

I love this one's face to. She always looks so pretty :) But who said black? I know this one is going to be dark blue. I was talking about your unborn black baby lol. I can possibly see 2 of my babies with boy looking qualities but I am hoping im wrong and that they are all girls. lol The cream colored one, the splash, and the black are all the biggest and heaviest and have the most noticable combs right now but im hoping that doesent mean anything lol.

I just sold 5 of the OE.

I'm so sad that they are gone. I hope they went to a good home. I have 5 left, praying there is at least 2 pullets in the mix, and I'm hoping its the blue/grey looking ones.

I have 5 left of the Yellow Ameraucana's and then 5 left of the brown chipmunk ones. My friend took 1 OE, and then 6 of the others, the OE she took had major feathering coming in. Already looks a week old, so she should be good with it. So the brooder looks empty now.

I think Cynthia was teasing about the one little boy she sent me, we thought it was blue all along, then the last week or so before he left her place he was all of a sudden looking quite black :D Your blue is very cute! Hope it is a girl for you.

Ok, remember a while back I had someone that was considering selling her small flock of legbars? There was someone on here that was interested. I can't remember who.

She a rooster, and 4 hens. She didn't give me a price, but can find out soon. She is now wanting them gone as soon as possible.

Hey everyone! This morning I was silkie hunting :) at the Draper IFA. Surprisingly they had quite a few! And they were big! The lady I talked to said that their silkies aren't selling as well this year as other years in the past. (Wow!!!) She had no idea how old they were, mixed ages, but guessed that some were over a month old or more. They were in with other teeny tiny bantams and the little holes in the feeders were set to the perfect size for teenies. The silkies kept getting their heads stuck and then the others would peck them so their backs and wings are pretty bare. Our city only allows 8 hens so I could only take 3.
(darn it!) Anyway...to make a long story even longer :)...now that I have them home and set up in their very own brooder away from my teeny tinies, I have no idea how old these babies are. Any silkie experts out there have any ideas?

Also, what can I do to help them get their feathers back? I have vitamins and electrolytes in their water and gave them some scrambled eggs...anything else?
Thanks guys!!!
